May 31, 2009 by tmewindyThe most excellent way is a Bible based program to assist people in gaining victory in their lives over the power of addictions and life dominating sins. We meet at Horizon Christian Fellowship Central on Saturday evenings from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM. Child care is available.
The Most Excellent way is for men, women, and teens that struggle with addiction or other life dominating sins. Basically, that means it is for all of us, because what sin cannot be life dominating and who among us is not struggling with sin.
We take an unashamedly Biblical view of sin, calling it what it is and not calling it a disease. We are not victims. We Victimize. That was the bad news. The good news is that when we recognize that what we are struggling with is sin, we can turn to God for victory over that sin.
We focus on 10 attitudes for successful living found in Matthew Chapter 5 and we thank God for what is said in Titus 3:3-8. One of my favorite sections of the Bible is Philippians chapter 3 and specifically verses 12-16 which describe the mind we should have in order to live a victorious life in Christ Jesus today.
